Terms & Conditions Terms of Sale All invoices are payable the 10th of the month following date of purchase, and are subject to a 2% cash discount if paid when due. All invoices are net and past due after this date. Interest will be charged on past due accounts. A charge of 1½% per month will be made on overdue accounts. Amalgamation Policy The following will be permissible to obtain quantity prices, and applies to all grades of printing paper up to and including the 16-carton or Ton Price. No Amalgamations will be permitted beyond to 16-carton or Ton price. Amalgamations may be made according to the following classifications. No Item less than a package will be considered for quantity pricing. Cut Stock -- All Grades All Prices are subject to change and will be billed at prevailing prices at time of shipment. Return of Merchandise Be sure to examine stock before using. We endeavor to have our stock run uniform, but the absolute uniformity in the manufacturing of paper of any grade is impossible. A natural variation of color, finish and thickness in different millruns cannot be avoided. If, for any reason, merchandise is not satisfactory, notify us at once, particularly before the stock is used or converted in any way. We cannot accept, return or allow any credit for merchandise after the stock has been ruled, printed or cut. No merchandise will be accepted for credit unless returned in saleable condition and in original packages. No merchandise is returnable that has been cut, ruled, or perforated. (The company must authorize any exceptions.) All returned merchandise accepted as an accommodation to the customer will be credited at 90% of the purchase price except that, if the market price prevailing on date returned is lower than the purchase price, customer will be credited 90% of the market price prevailing on date returned. The minimum restocking charge will be $25.00. Special Orders Many paper mills have penalties for orders of less than 4 cartons, broken cartons, etc. Orders of non-stock merchandise will be subject to these extra charges, plus freight charges where applicable. Manufacturing Orders - Over & Under Runs Special making orders of coated and un-coated papers are subject to the following variations, which will constitute good delivery: Less than 5,000 pounds ----------------------------------20% over or under When orders carry a fixed minimum or maximum, such as "not more than" or "not less than", the above listed variations may be doubled, on a one-way basis. Most manufacturers have these percentage guidelines.
